We want to ensure that the delivery of your NiX order goes as smoothly as possible. To help make this happen, we’ve created a set of access guidelines for delivering and installing our furniture.

Before Ordering

Before making an order, measure your room to ensure that the piece fits your space and that it can be delivered to the room of your choice.

Measure up

To help you measure accurately, we’ve created this useful ‘Will It Fit?’ guide, which gives you step-by-step instructions on how to take accurate measurements of different types of furniture.

Measure your furniture

To start, you’ll need to source the furniture’s measurements from its product page. 

You can check how furniture fits in your room by marking out its measurements on the floor with paper or masking tape. Make sure there’s enough space to walk around your furniture and to open any drawers or doors. Allow for at least 60cm around a dining table in order to use dining chairs comfortably.

Measure the path

Be sure to measure the entire route your furniture will take to reach its new room. Include hallways, and any landings it may need to pivot around. If it needs to fit in a lift, measure the height and width of the lift doors as well as the space inside.

Measure the space

Finally, make sure there’s space in your desired location and double check it will fit through the door. Take light fixtures, radiators, shelving and handrails into account and if necessary, remove these before delivery.
