The Future

We intend to achieve B Corp certification for NiX. Being B Corp certified means that we will be independently verified to the highest levels of accountability, traceability and sustainability. B Corp certification will become an important part of our brand and culture and a growing movement we will be proud to be part of.

We will publish our first Impact Report at the end of the 23/24 financial year and we will then publish the report every year, moving forward. The Impact Report will detail our progress against established targets for increasing our positive impact on the world in which we live.

Each year we will audit our makers and suppliers to ensure that they are delivering on the promises in the Supplier Code of Conduct and work to become a more responsible business.

We have established a framework of business metrics that we are monitoring to ensure that we are achieving our goals. We will track progress and aim to show year-on-year improvements.

We will commit to partnering with mentorship programmes supporting both design and retail students and graduates each year from 2024.

We will extend our charitable work by supporting our team with extended days off to volunteer for a charity of their choice.

Our vision is to become a fully circular business. We have started this journey through our repairs and recycling initiatives, including the imminent launch of our wood furniture care pack, however, we know that there is so much more that we can and will do.
